Privacy Policy and Personal Data Protection Clarification Text (KVKK)

In accordance with the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 ("KVKK"), as BesiNet, acting in the capacity of data controller, we attach great importance to the privacy and security of your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains which of your data we collect, for what purposes and on what legal grounds; to whom we transfer it; how long we retain it; and your rights under the KVKK.

When you use our application and website, the following categories of data may be processed:

a) Identity and Contact Data

• Name, surname
• Mobile phone number
• E-mail address (optional)
• Turkish ID number (only when required: invoicing, business verification)

b) Business / Corporate Data (for members opening a business account)

• Tax identification number, tax certificate
• Trade registry information
• Business name, address, field of activity
• Health certificates, veterinary licenses (if any)

c) Location Data

• Your location (at city/district level — approximate location from GPS, based on your preference)
• Geographic locations of listings and requests

d) Content Data

• Listing content for animals, farms, feed and transport (title, description, price)
• Photographs
• Herd records (ear tag number, breed, date of birth, health records)
• Messaging content

e) Transaction and Payment Data

• Subscription and purchase history
• Billing information
• Payment method (card details are not stored by us — processed through our PCI-DSS compliant payment providers)

f) Technical Data

• Device identifier, operating system, app version
• IP address
• Usage logs, error records
• Push notification tokens

g) Marketing and Analytics Data

• In-app behavior data
• Notification preferences
• Survey and feedback responses

Your personal data is processed for the following purposes:

• Creating membership and managing accounts
• Identity verification via OTP
• Providing listing, auction and trading services
• Messaging and communication between users
• Payment, invoicing and subscription management
• Sending proximity-based notifications
• Customer support and complaint management
• Fulfilling legal obligations (tax, consumer legislation, TÜRKVET integration, etc.)
• Preventing fraud and abuse
• Improving service quality, statistics and product development

Your data is processed under Articles 5 and 6 of the KVKK based on the following legal grounds:

• Necessity for the establishment or performance of a contract
• Explicitly provided for by law (Tax Law, Electronic Commerce Law, Law No. 5651, etc.)
• Fulfillment of a legal obligation
• Existence of our legitimate interest (fraud prevention, security)
• Your explicit consent (marketing, location-based notifications, etc.)

Your data may be transferred to the following recipients, only to the extent necessary:

• Domestic service providers: SMS OTP (NetGSM), cloud infrastructure (AWS/Emergent), analytics, e-mail services
• Payment institutions: İyzico / PayTR / Stripe (when a purchase is made)
• Public authorities: upon request, solely within the scope of legal obligation (courts, public prosecutors, law enforcement, the Turkish Personal Data Protection Authority, TÜRKVET, etc.)
• Overseas servers: data centers of our cloud service providers (within the scope of Article 9 of the KVKK and with necessary technical/administrative measures)

Your personal data is never sold to third parties for marketing purposes.

Your personal data is retained:

• For as long as your membership remains active,
• For the duration required by legal retention periods (5 years under the Tax Procedure Law, 10 years under the Commercial Code, etc.)
• For the statute of limitations period in case of legal disputes,

At the end of these periods, data is deleted, destroyed or anonymized.

As a data subject, you have the following rights:

• a) To learn whether your personal data is being processed
• b) To request information if your personal data has been processed
• c) To learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used in accordance with that purpose
• d) To know the third parties to whom data is transferred domestically or abroad
• e) To request correction if data is processed incompletely or inaccurately
• f) To request deletion or destruction within the conditions set out in Article 7 of the KVKK
• g) To object to an outcome against you resulting from analysis by automated systems
• h) To claim compensation if you suffer damage due to unlawful processing
